Sometimes the architecture needs to take a backseat…

Happy sunny days! A glorious zinc clad extension to a Grade 2 listed home in Edgbaston… We took advantage of the sunshine to visit this project of ours that completed last Autumn. Sometimes you just need to keep out of the way as far as possible, the less you do the better the end project. The brief was simple, a beautiful house in need of a jewel of an extension to take advantage of the established south facing garden. Full listed building consent was achieved both for the demolition of the existing outbuildings and the new proposed extension. We are very happy with the result, the outcome of a exciting client brief, our imagination and negotiation, and the builder’s attention to detail.

We’re very proud of the work we do in Conservation Areas, and on period properties throughout the West Midlands. Modernising, and innovating whilst ensuring additions are sensitive and contextual to enhance the location.

The full project page will be uploaded shortly, so do keep an eye out for that in the portfolio section of the website.
