Here’s one we did earlier…!!
A beautiful house in Harborne that had been the victim of some rather tragic additions in the 1980s. The whole house needed updating generally, the front elevation needed re-integrating with the property, alongside adding extensive additional living accommodation to create a beautiful, modern and generous family home.
We extended across the full width of the rear of the property, allowing us to significantly increase the space in the house. This allowed us to add a beautiful living, kitchen, dining space and a gym, utility and wc on the ground floor whilst retaining the original period reception rooms. At first an almost complete re-organisation added a master bedroom with ensuite and dressing room, ensuites to guest bedrooms, a family bathroom and bigger bedrooms for the children.
Really pleased with how this one turned, the builder did a great job with the contemporary rear elevation of render framing timber cladding. Also really happy to have transformed the front elevation and made the house proud of itself again! No more the ugly duckling…
